Garnet Open Centennial Season with Win

WESTMINSTER, Md. -- Swarthmore freshman Allison Bishop, sophomore Julia Wrobel and junior Stephen Shymon picked up two individual victories as the Garnet swim teams opened Centennial action at McDaniel on Saturday afternoon. Five Swarthmore Women Named All-Centennial

LANCASTER, Pa. -- The Swarthmore College women's soccer team had five players selected to the 2007 All-Centennial list, following a vote by the conference head coaches. Garnet junior Cait Mullarkey, junior Lauren Walker and freshman Megan Colombo were named to the first team, sophomore Maggie DeLorme was a second-team selection and senior Danielle Tocchet is honorable mention.

Garnet Split Opening Meet in Chester

CHESTER, Pa. -- The Swarthmore swim teams opened up the 2007-08 season with a non-conference meet at local rival Widener Thursday evening. The Garnet women cruised to a 132.5-68.6 victory while the Swarthmore men lost a tight battle, 109-96.
