McCormick Has Triple-Double, Garnet Lose Close One to Terror

WESTMINSTER, Md. — Swarthmore senior center Ian McCormick posted a triple-double and classmate Noam Fleigelman added a season-high 14 points, but hometown McDaniel held on for a 66-61 win in the Centennial Conference opener for both squads Wednesday night in the Gill Center.

Six Swarthmore Athletes Named to All-Conference Sportsmanship Team

LANCASTER, Pa. — Six Swarthmore student-athletes were recently named to the 2007 Fall All-Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team released by the conference office Tuesday afternoon. Each member institution was permitted to nominate one athlete from each program who exemplifies the best in sportsmanship.
