SWARTHMORE, Pa. The Swarthmore College women’s soccer team would like to invite all local girls soccer players and teams to our 5th Annual Youth Soccer Month celebration. This year’s main event will take place on Friday September 3rd at 7:00pm when the Garnet face off in the Swat Kick Classic against Baptist Bible.

LANCASTER, Pa. -The Swarthmore College volleyball team was picked third in the 2010 Centennial Conference Preseason Coaches’ Poll, the conference announced on Friday afternoon.
The Garnet tied Gettysburg for third place while picking up a first-place vote.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – After surprising the Centennial Conference with a fourth-place finish and its first ever playoff victory and ECAC playoff appearance last season, expectations are high for the Swarthmore College volleyball team in 2010, as the Garnet return two all-conference performers while setting sights on even bigger goals for the upcoming season.

Grand Lake, Colo. – Allison Grein ’10 and Carey Pietsch ’10 of the Swarthmore Women’s Lacrosse team were named to the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll Squad, the organization announced recently.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – For the Swarthmore College men’s soccer team, the 2009 season had everything needed for a storybook season – everything but the perfect ending. After recording one of the best regular seasons in program history and once again reaching the NCAA Sweet 16 in dramatic fashion, the Garnet’s season ended in heartbreak, losing to lower-seeded Transylvania on penalty kicks. But that heartbreak is fuel for the 2010 team, which hopes to fight for another Centennial Conference championship and advance past the Round of 16 for the first time in over 30 years.
