Wallwork Named Centennial Performer of the Year for Third Consecutive Season; DuBrin, Rosenblum Also Honored

LANCASTER, Pa. – Senior Rachel Wallwork was named Centennial Conference Women’s Tennis Player of the Year for the third consecutive season, while sophomore Rosie DuBrin and freshman Emily Rosenblum were also honored as second-team singles selections, the Conference announced on Friday afternoon. Wallwork and Rosenblum also earned first-team doubles honors.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Senior Rachel Wallwork won her 23rd consecutive Centennial Conference singles match – besting Johns Hopkins’ Carolyn Warren 6-2, 6-2 – but it wasn’t enough to help the Swarthmore College women’s tennis team (8-4, 6-1) overtake the mighty Blue Jays, as No. 13 Hopkins prevailed 8-1 on Tuesday evening from the Mullan Center.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Senior Rachel Wallwork and freshman Emily Rosenblum both picked up singles and doubles on the day, but No. 24 Skidmore took the remaining six points en route to a 6-3 victory over the Swarthmore women’s tennis team on Sunday afternoon from the College.

The loss snaps a four-match winning streak for the Garnet (6-3, 4-0).
