Garnet Golf Finish Sixth at Ursinus Invitational

ELVERSON, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men’s golf team finished sixth in a field of 13 at the Ursinus Invitational on a rainy Tuesday from Stonewall Golf Club. The Garnet brought in a score of 334, edging Cabrini by two strokes.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Senior Rachel Wallwork won her 23rd consecutive Centennial Conference singles match – besting Johns Hopkins’ Carolyn Warren 6-2, 6-2 – but it wasn’t enough to help the Swarthmore College women’s tennis team (8-4, 6-1) overtake the mighty Blue Jays, as No. 13 Hopkins prevailed 8-1 on Tuesday evening from the Mullan Center.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The reigning NCAA Division III women’s lacrosse champions and current No. 2 Franklin & Marshall Diplomats (8-1, 4-0 CC) visited Clothier Field on Tuesday night and handled the Swarthmore women’s lacrosse team (6-4, 0-4 CC) with a 17-7 victory. Sophomore Marie Mutryn highlighted the Garnet offense with five goals.
