Garnet Golf Finish Sixth at Ursinus Invitational
ELVERSON, Pa. - The Swarthmore College men's golf team finished sixth in a field of 13 at the Ursinus Invitational on a rainy Tuesday from Stonewall Golf Club. The Garnet brought in a score of 334, edging Cabrini by two strokes.
Sophomore Paul Weston led Swat, carding a seven over par 77 to finish tied for fifth while senior Jeff Lazarus followed closely behind Weston with an 81, tied for 20th in the field of 66.
Sophomore Alex Nichamin brought in the third low score for Swarthmore with an 85 and freshman Kyle Krainock would finish with a 91. Senior Kelly Schoolmeester rounded out the Garnet top five with a 95.
The Swat golf team returns to the links on Thursday April 15, traveling to the Inniscrone Golf Club to compete in the Immaculata Invitational. Tee-off begins at 12:30 PM.
