Garnet Swimmers Split Pride

SWARTHMORE, Pa. — A warm Ware Pool saw the Garnet women’s swim team open the 2008-09 season with a resounding win over visiting Widener, 101-88, Wednesday night. Much of the heat was generated by vocal fans embroiled in the men’s competition, won in the final swim by the Pride. 108-97.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. — Garnet senior Sarah Reynolds scored in her final home game as the Swarthmore field hockey team fell to rival Haverford, 4-3, in a Centennial Conference contest on Wednesday night at Clothier Field.
