SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Seniors Megan Colombo and Kirsten Peterson each scored second-half goals for the Swarthmore College women’s soccer team (2-3-1), but visiting NYU (2-5-1) responded with two late second half goals of their own, as the Garnet and Violets played to a 2-2 tie on Sunday afternoon from Clothier Field Stadium.
EWING, N.J. – No.2 College of New Jersey scored a pair of goals late in the first half, as the Lions proved to be too much for visiting Swarthmore College women’s soccer team (2-3), defeating the Garnet 2-0 on Wednesday evening.
CARLISLE, Pa. – With its back against the ropes, the Swarthmore College women’s soccer team responded with a huge victory in its Conference opener.
Junior Emily Coleman scored the game-winner in the 77th minute on a counter-attack while sophomore Alexa Ross tied the game in the first half with her first career goal, as the Garnet (2-2, 1-0) traveled into hostile territory and defeated Centennial Conference-nemesis Dickinson 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Lebanon Valley’s (1-1-0) Sara Drabenstadt scored her first goal of the season on a penalty kick in the 42nd minute en route to a 1-0 win to give Swarthmore (1-1-0) its first loss in the Swat Kick Classic since 2005.
