COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – It was a tale of two halves for the Swarthmore College women’s lacrosse team, as the Garnet fell to Ursinus 17-6 on a chilly Tuesday night in Centennial Conference action.

Garnet Golf Finish Sixth at Ursinus Invitational

ELVERSON, Pa. – The Swarthmore College men’s golf team finished sixth in a field of 13 at the Ursinus Invitational on a rainy Tuesday from Stonewall Golf Club. The Garnet brought in a score of 334, edging Cabrini by two strokes.

No. 13 Johns Hopkins Hands Garnet Women First Centennial Loss, 8-1

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Senior Rachel Wallwork won her 23rd consecutive Centennial Conference singles match – besting Johns Hopkins’ Carolyn Warren 6-2, 6-2 – but it wasn’t enough to help the Swarthmore College women’s tennis team (8-4, 6-1) overtake the mighty Blue Jays, as No. 13 Hopkins prevailed 8-1 on Tuesday evening from the Mullan Center.

Swat Baseball, Softball Postponed

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Rain has forced the postponement of today’ss scheduled softball
doubleheader (vs. Washington) and baseball game (vs. Ursinus) from the College. The baseball game has been rescheduled for tomorrow (3:30), while softball is still to be determined.

Krainock Leads Swat Golf to Third Place Finish

SPRINGFIELD, Pa. – Freshman Kyle Krainock shot a 79 on Monday afternoon to lead the Garnet golf team to a third place finish in its five team invitational at Rolling Green Country Club. The team shot a 333 finishing behind Drexel University and the University of Pennsylvania.

Tyler Bradshaw Named Centennial Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week

McMinn Earns Garnet Top 10 Time to Pace Swat Track at TCNJ

EWING, N.J. – Freshman John McMinn earned a spot on the Garnet’s All-Time Top 10 list with a time of 8:55.56 in the men’s 3,000 meter run to lead the Swarthmore College men’s outdoor track & field team at TCNJ Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Garnet Tennis Dominates Ursinus, 8-1

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Senior Rachel Wallwork picked up her 22nd consecutive victory in Centennial Conference singles play while freshmen Emily Rosenblum and Kelsey Johnson remained unbeaten in Conference singles play as the Swarthmore College women’s tennis team (8-3, 6-0) defeated Ursinus 8-1 on Saturday afternoon from the College.

Bradshaw Unstoppable as Swarthmore Lax Defeats Christopher Newport 11-9

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – It’s been quite a week for senior Tyler Bradshaw.

Three days after leading the Swarthmore College men’s lacrosse team (3-7, 1-5) to its first Centennial Conference victory of the season, the senior attacker scored a career-high five goals, including the game winner with 3:33 left to play as the Garnet defeated Christopher Newport 11-9 on Saturday afternoon from Stonewall Jackson High School.
