Tyler Bradshaw Named Centennial Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week

LANCASTER, Pa. - Senior attacker Tyler Bradshaw of the Swarthmore College men's lacrosse team has been named the Centennial Conference co-offensive player of the week for the week ending April 12, the Conference announced on Monday afternoon.

Bradshaw has scored 28 goals in 2010.

Bradshaw (Marietta, Ga. - Lassiter) had a phenomenal offensive week for the Garnet, totaling nine goals and one assist in Swat's 2-0 week. Against Washington, Bradshaw scored four goals to help Swat earns its first win over the Shoremen in 57 years. Against Christopher Newport, Bradshaw scored a career-high five goals, including the game-winner with 3:33 left to play, to lead the Garnet to victory. Bradshaw's nine goals came on just 15 shots, as the senior sported a .600 shooting percentage for the week.

Bradshaw shares the honor with Travis Gregory of Haverford. Bradshaw is the second member of the Garnet to receive Player of the Week honors; senior goalie Kevin Friedenberg was named the defensive player of the week for the week ending March 2.

Swarthmore returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts Drew from Clothier Field. Action will begin at 7:00 p.m.
