SWARTHMORE, Pa. — The Garnet men’s soccer team made a strong debut at the Garnet Alumni Classic this past weekend and have slid into the top-25 NSCAA/adidas National Rankings, listing 24th in the poll released on Tuesday.

MADISON, N.J. — Swarthmore junior Hoa Pham’s two goals in the field hockey game against Cabrini (1-1) was not enough to get the Garnet (1-1) in a groove during the 3-2 loss on Sunday morning at the Drew Fall Festival.

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. — At the Delaware Valley Cross Country Invitational Meet, Swarthmore junior Nyika Corbett finished third overall leading the Garnet women’s cross country team to a second place finish. The Garnet men completed theSaturday morning eighth overall.

YORK, Pa. — Garnet senior outside hitter Jen Wang collected 26 kills and fellow Californian Genny Pazzola totaled 26 digs at the York Quad Saturday afternoon. The team suffered a pair of losses, dropping a 3-0 decision to Elizabethtown before falling 3-1 to Centennial rival McDaniel.

For the 11th season Swarthmore opened their season with Garnet Alumni Classic, in a classy fashion senior forward Evan Nesterak scored his first two goals of the season to give the Garnet the offensive edge against the Thoroghbreds.
