Mathematica license update for faculty & staff
Faculty and staff with Mathematica 5.2 or 6.0 installed on a college owned computer will be prompted to update your password after August 1, 2007. To make the change, first find the Mathematica folder on the data-software server. (First choose either the Mac or Windows folder, then open the Faculty_Staff_only folder.) Please refer to the ReadMe file for the new password that corresponds with your version of Mathematica. Contact the ITS help desk if you have any questions or problems with the update. One kind of Internet piracy is called “phishing.” It is pronounced “fishing,” and that is exactly what these thieves are doing: “fishing” for your personal financial information. What they want are account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, and other confidential information that they can use to loot your checking account or run up bills on your credit cards. In the worst case, you could find yourself a victim of identity theft.
