Garnet Women to Celebrate Youth Soccer Month
SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College women's soccer team would like to invite all local girls soccer players and teams to our 5th Annual Youth Soccer Month celebration. This year's main event will take place on Friday September 3rd at 7:00pm when the Garnet face off in the Swat Kick Classic against Baptist Bible. During the game there will be giveaways and entertainment aimed at promoting the sport of soccer. Swarthmore's special guest Mayor Rick Lowe is planning to be in attendance to cheer on the Garnet and White.
The goals of Youth Soccer Month are to raise awareness of youth soccer and the benefits of playing the game, emphasize soccer as the number one youth participation sport in America and bring kids and families of all ages and all abilities together for fun, friendship and fitness.
