    OK, I’m gettng serious microscope envy. Why did I agree to the trivial, useless waste of cash involved in the kitchen remodel we’re starting Monday?

    This is the one I’m looking at, by the way.

    The lighting in mine, btw, is another source of frustration. It’s *really* weird and fluky.

    He’s a great dog. Named by the 4-year old: Breadsticks. Which naturally the vets insisted on spelling Breadstix, as if he were some new product being introduced in the supermarket. I like the breed–much less neurotic than your average terrier.

    They offer eyepiece adapters for most cameras.
