ALLENTOWN, Pa. Swarthmore junior Elizabeth Mills scored in the fifth minute, but Muhlenberg scored two early goals of its own within the first seven minutes of play, as the No. 16 Garnet (10-3, 4-2) ended up on the wrong end of the wild start, losing to the Mules 2-1 on Wednesday evening.

Swarthmore Volleyball Reaches New Heights With 3-1 Victory Over Muhlenberg

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Another match, another milestone victory. The Swarthmore College volleyball team moved to 15-6 overall and 5-1 in conference – its most wins in a single season since joining the Centennial Conference – as it knocked off Muhlenberg College 3-1 on Tuesday night. Sophomore Genny Pezzola led the way for the Garnet with 17 kills and 15 digs.

MARY’S CITY, Md. – Sophomore David Sterngold scored in the 10th minute and the Swat defense held homestanding St. Mary’s College to just two shots on goal as the No. 6 Swarthmore College men’s soccer team (12-1, 4-1) stepped out of Centennial Conference play to defeat the Seahawks 1-0 on Tuesday afternoon.

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – Sophomore Micah Rose scored the game-winning goal on a free kick in the 56th minute and assisted on junior Morgan Langley’s game-tying goal in the 32nd minute as the No. 6 Swarthmore men’s soccer team (11-1, 4-1) shook off a sluggish start to defeat Ursinus 2-1 on Saturday afternoon.

No. 20 Garnet Continue Road Dominance With 2-0 Victory at Bryn Mawr

BRYN MAWR, Pa. – Junior Megan Colombo scored her team-leading fifth goal of the season and assisted on a goal by junior Kelsey Cline as the No. 20 Swarthmore College women’s soccer team (10-2, 4-1) defeated Conference-rival Bryn Mawr 2-0 on a rainy Saturday afternoon on the Main Line. With the win, the Garnet move to 4-0 on the road this season and 2-0 at the midway point of a season-long three-game Centennial road swing.

McMinn Finishes Ninth in the DeSales Invitational

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – Freshman John McMinn set the pace for the Swarthmore men’s cross country team on Saturday afternoon at the DeSales Invitational, recording the Garnet’s best time for fourth consecutive week. McMinn crossed the finish line at 27:08.57.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Junior Sara McCabe scored a goal off freshman Sophia Agathis’ Centennial Conference-leading ninth assist of the season, but the Garnet could not overcome a powerful Dickinson offensive attack, as the Swarthmore College field hockey team (5-8, 1-4) lost to Dickinson 4-1 from Clothier Field Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Swarthmore Loses Heartbreaker to Conference Rival Johns Hopkins

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Freshman Kathryn Montemurro finished with 16 kills in a conference battle against Johns Hopkins, but it wasn’t enough as Swarthmore (13-6, 3-1) fell to the Blue Jays 3-2 from Tarble Pavilion on Thursday night. The loss is the Garnet’s first Centennial defeat of the season.
