McMinn Finishes Ninth in the DeSales Invitational
ALLENTOWN, Pa. - Freshman John McMinn set the pace for the Swarthmore men's cross country team on Saturday afternoon at the DeSales Invitational, recording the Garnet's best time for fourth consecutive week. McMinn crossed the finish line at 27:08.57.
The Garned finished three runners in the top 30 in the DeSales Invitational; McMinn finished ninth, freshman Jacob Phillips finished 21st with a time of 27:40.48 and freshman Aiden Dumont McCaffrey finished 26th with a time of 28:00.98.
Swarthmore will look to better its time on October 31st when it travels to Dickinson College to run in the Centennial Conference Championships. The race is set to start at 11 AM.
