LANCASTER, Pa. – Thirty Swarthmore College student-athletes have been named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the 2009 fall season. The honor roll recognizes athletes’ performance both on the field and in the classroom.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Seniors Julia Luongo and Maggie DeLorme certainly made it a Senior Day to remember, as the Class of 2010 pair each scored a goal in their final home game at Clothier Field, as the No. 20 Swarthmore women’s soccer team (13-4, 7-3) overwhelmed visiting Franklin & Marshall 4-0 on a rainy Saturday night at the College.

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford got two goals over a two-minute span in the second half to put away the No. 20 Swarthmore College women’s soccer team 3-0 on Tuesday afternoon from a wet and muddy Walton Field at Haverford College. Despite the loss, the Garnet (12-4, 6-3) clinched a spot in the Centennial Conference playoffs thanks to Dickinson’s 1-0 victory over Gettysburg.

GETTYSBURG, Pa. – The No. 23 Swarthmore College women’s soccer team (12-3, 6-2) scored two goals within a two-minute span in the second half as the Garnet defeated Gettysburg College 3-1 on a rainy Saturday afternoon from the Battlefield.

SWARTHMORE, Pa. – After 22 days without a home game at the friendly confines of Clothier Field, the No. 23 Swarthmore College women’s soccer team (11-3, 5-2) finally returned back to campus and picked up an important conference victory, getting second-half goals from junior Kelsey Cline and sophomore Emily Coleman to defeat visiting Ursinus College 2-0 on Wednesday evening from Clothier Field Stadium.

ALLENTOWN, Pa. Swarthmore junior Elizabeth Mills scored in the fifth minute, but Muhlenberg scored two early goals of its own within the first seven minutes of play, as the No. 16 Garnet (10-3, 4-2) ended up on the wrong end of the wild start, losing to the Mules 2-1 on Wednesday evening.
