Johns Hopkins Grinds Out 64-58 Win Over Garnet
Tuesday, January 12th, 2010BALTIMORE – Andrew Farber-Miller scored 14 points as one of three Johns Hopkins players to reach double-figures as the homestanding Blue Jays earned a hard-fought 64-58 victory over the Swarthmore College men’s basketball team on Tuesday evening. Freshman Will Gates finished with a game-high 15 points – 11 of which came in the second half – while Ryan Carmichael scored 14 points to lead Swarthmore (2-11, 1-5), which stayed with the Blue Jays until the final buzzer but were once again done-in by poor shooting (35 percent) from the field.
