Archibald Named to CoSIDA ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Baseball Team

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - Senior Wiley Archibald of the Swarthmore College baseball team was named to the CoSIDA ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District baseball second-team as announce on Thursday May 6.

Archibald also earned All-Centennial team honors this season.

Archibald (Berkeley, Calif. - The College Preparatory School) had a senior season to remember, finishing second on the team in batting average (.371) and third in 0n-base percentage (.444). Archibald recently joined Swat senior Jimmy Gill in the 100-hit club, now with 102 hits in his Swarthmore career.

Excelling on the field and in the classroom, Archibald was also named to the All-Centennial team as well as the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll.

Archibald is the fourth Swarthmore College athlete to be named to an CoSIDA ESPN All-Academic All-District team.
