Field Hockey Drops Season Finale 2-0 at Gettysburg

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - The homestanding Bullets scored two first-half goals, as the Swarthmore College field hockey team (5-13, 1-9) dropped its season finale to Gettysburg 2-0 on Sunday afternoon from the Battlefield.

Senior Gina Grubb made nine saves in her final game, while substitute Katie Ashmore made seven saves.

Playoff-bound were led by goals from Alexie Hearn and Alyssa Heimbach, who each scored within the first 10 minutes of play, while the defense limited the Garnet to just one shot for the entire game.

The Garnet finish the season at 5-13.
