Golf Opens Fall Season at Lebanon Valley
ANNVILLE, Pa. - Sophomore Paul Weston shot a team-best six-over-par 78 to finish in the Top 20, while sophomore Alex Nichamin shot an 11-over-par 81 (36th) to pace the Swarthmore golf team at the Lebanon Valley College Fall Invitational on Monday.
As a team, the Garnet finished with a score of 330, good for 11th place in the upper-half of the 24-team field.
Mike Kackurak (72) of Delaware Valley captured first place after defeating Messiah's Matt Burkhart in the first playoff hole.
The Garnet return to action on Monday, October 5, with the Bent Creek Invitational hosted by Franklin & Marshall.
