Garnet Soccer Continues to Move Up In D3 Soccer Poll
KANSAS CITY, MO. - The Swarthmore College men's and women's soccer teams each moved up one spot in the latest edition of the D3 Soccer poll released on Tuesday. The men climbed to No. 3 in the rankings after knocking off No.18/25 Johns Hopkins 1-0, while the women moved from No. 19 to No. 18 after splitting a pair of games against nationally-ranked No.5/6 TCNJ (L 0-2) and No. 4/5 Dickinson (W 1-0).
In the NSCAA Poll released on Tuesday afternoon, the men's soccer team remained at No. 9 nationally and No. 2 in the Mid-Atlantic Region. The women's team dropped from No. 15 to No. 20 nationally and from No. 2 to No. 3 in Mid-Atlantic Region.
The men's soccer team returns to action on Wednesday with a trip to Immaculata (6:30 p.m.) . The women return to action on Thursday when the team travels to unbeaten Widener (7:00 p.m.).
