Panthers Power Past Garnet
QUEENS CITY, Ariz. -- The Swarthmore baseball team opened their spring break schedule with an 11-3 loss to Pitt-Bradford on Saturday afternoon on the fields at Queens City High School.
The Garnt (1-2) were led by freshman outfielder Mike Waterhouse (Weston, Conn. / Weston) who picked-up a triple and a double, both times sending a runner to home plate. Freshman catcher Miles Santo (Middletown, N.J. / Middletown South) earned his first collegiate hit.
Tomorrow the Garnet will begin their three game series against Wesleyan, first pitch is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. (Mountain Standard Time)
