#21 Mules Continue Unbeaten Streak

SWARTHMORE, Pa. -- 21st-ranked Muhlenberg remained undefeated as freshman guard Alexandra Chili scored 23 points, en route to a 83-70 victory over Swarthmore Thursday night in Centennial Conference women's basketball action om Tarble Pavilion.

The Mules improved to 5-0 and 3-0 in the Conference as the Garnet fell to 1-4 and 1-1 in the Centennial.

Muhlenberg had three of five starters score in the double-digits totaling 49 of their 83 overall points. Sophomore Kelly McKeon went 9-for-10 at the free-throw line and had four assists. Senior center Erin Sherry collected 11 points and blocked a game-high our shots.

Swarthmore forward Kathryn Stockbower '11 (Ft. Washington, Pa. / Upper Dublin), who currently leads the Centennial Conference with 19.3 rebounds per game, registered her 15th consecutive double-double with 21 points and 12 rebounds. Classmate Ceylan Bodur (Istanbul, Turkey / Roberts College) sank three shots from behind the arc, as she marked a season-high 18 points. For the third game in a row, senior Melissa Grigsby (West Chester, Pa. / West Chester East) reached double-digit scoring with 15 points, while dishing out four helpers.

Swarthmore continues its current four-game homestand this Saturday, hosting Johns Hopkins at 1:00 p.m. as the first part of a Centennial doubleheader.
