Golf: Goldstein, Cullinan Straighten Out Bent Creek
LILITZ, Pa. - Swarthmore junior Ed Goldstein (39-37) shot his best round of the season, a 76, and senior Michael Cullinan (37-40) carded a 77 to help lead the Garnet to a sixth place finish at the Franklin & Marshall Invite held at par-71 Bent Creek Golf Course on Monday afternoon.
Freshman Michael Bernasek added an 80 and junior Zach Moody put up an 81 as the Garnet posted a 314 team score.
The next Garnet match, set for 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 has been cancelled. Swarthmore will prepare for the upcoming Centennial Conference Championships by hosting Widener, USP, and Rutgers-Camden at Rolling Green Golf Club on Monday, April 24.
