COMPLETE MATCH RESULTS

SWARTHMORE, Pa. - During Saturday afternoon's match-up, the Garnet (10-2, 6-0 CC), sitting atop the Centennial Conference, remained stalwart in the face of Green Terror, winning 9-0 on Saturday afternoon at Faulkner Courts.

It is the 25th straight conference victory for Swarthmore.

In doubles play, the Garnet did everything right, dominating at the net, lobbing when necessary. No. 1 doubles Sonya Reynolds '07 and Marissa Matthews '07, ranked eighth in the Atlantic South region, played for half an hour, never giving up a game to win 8-0 over McDaniel's Danielle Magid and Kate McLean. At No. 2s, Waverly Lutz '07 and Sara Sargent '07 out-rallied McDaniel's pair, Emily Taylor and Whitney Hines, to earn a 8-1 victory, while Swarthmore's No. 3 pair Jamie Midyette '08 and Oriana Galardi-Este '06 triumphed at 8-3.

Singles play was just as successful as the Garnet women fought to hold their #1 title. Galardi-Este sealed the complete sweep when she defeated Helen Brooks 6-3, 6-4.
