4×800 Relay Collects Silver at CC Meet
The 4x800 relay team of Paul Thibodeau '06, James Golden '05, Vernon Chaplin '07 and Keefe Keeley '06 finished in second place in a time of 7:58.84 to earn the first medal for the Garnet at the Centennial Conference Track and Field Championships hosted by Muhlenberg College.
Tyler Lyson '06 won his heat of the 400 in 51:08 to advance to tomorrow's final and Duncan Gromko '07 covered the 800 in 1:58.65 to participate in the final.
Garrett Ash '05 finished in fourth place in the 10,000 on Friday night in a time of 32:29.82 and Matt Singleton '07 finished in fifth place in the pole vault, clearing 12 feet 6 inches. Ross Weller '08 placed eighth in the 3,000 steeplechase in a time of 10:07.63.
The Garnet are in eight place with 18 points with one day remaining in the three-day competition. Events resume tomorrow at 11 a.m. Results
