Garnet Take Two
Dominating singles play from Jessica Larson '06 and Candice Cherk '07 powered the Garnet to a 4-1 PAIAW victory at Haverford on Wednesday night.
Larson was an 11-1, 11-0 winner at No. 1 singles over Rui Qi Lim and Cherk defeated Yen Na Yum 11-3, 11-4 at No. 2 to set the pace for the evening. Katie Crawford '07 earned a, 11-6, 13-12 win at No. 3 singles to give the Garnet the match.
Abe Howland and Mu Yang teamed for a mixed doubles win for the Garnet.
At 4-0 Swarthmore remains unbeaten in conference play. The Garnet host Bryn Athyn on Monday night at 7:30. Results
