2004-05 Season Preview
The Women's Swim team will see plenty of action this year with eleven dual meets, one two and a half day December invitational and Centennial Conference Championships. Swarthmore's roster size will remain unchanged as five seniors graduated and five first-years join the ranks. The incoming class includes a number of talented swimmers, and with a year of experience, look to the sophomores to make a bigger impact. The Garnet also return four swimmers to the lineup that have earned seven Centennial Conference medals.
Look for the group of Sarah Cotcamp '07, Erin Dwyer-Frazier '05, Patricia Funk '06, Michele Hom '07, Kathryn Jantz '05, Melanie Johncilla '05, Martyna Pospieszalska '06, Katherine Reid '05, Katie Schmidt '07 and Christie Tomm '05 to lead the Garnet as they all have multiple Swarthmore All Time Top Ten times. In addition, Johncilla, Reid and Pospieszalska are all College Record holders.
