2004-05 Season Preview
With the graduation of four seniors, the 2004-05 badminton team will be a young sqad. Even so, the team looks to equal or better its performance from last year's PAIAW co-championship season. Returning for the Garnet are the starting trio of Anjali Aggarwal '06, Candice Cherk '07, and Jessica Larson '06 to lead the team. With the infusion of some young talent, the netters will be tough to beat.
This year's schedule marks the first time that the team will compete in November with the Mid-Atlantic Classic and the Main Line Doubles Invitational. When classes reconvene in January, the team will step up its competitive schedule as it goes against perennial nemesis Bryn Mawr in addition to hosting the Northeast Regional Collegiate Tournament.
At last year's tournament, Andrew Sniderman '06 reached the finals before losing to a nationally ranked player from Howard University. The season will be surely an exciting year as new head coach Bhavin Parikh will offer expert guidance and tutelage to the squad.
