Garnet Womens Lacrosse Plays For a Cause

Swarthmore women’s lacrosse, along with neighboring Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges, hosted the 2008 Tri-Co Women’s Lacrosse Invitational over the weekend of Saturday, March 15 and Sunday, March 16, raising over $6,000 to benefit the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation.

The Swarthmore College Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) sponsored its First Annual Holiday Food Drive. The food donations collected during the drive were donated to the Bernardine Center in Chester, a local organization that assists low-income Chester residents.
