NCAA REGIONAL RANKINGS

INDIANAPOLIS - With only three games remaining in the regular season, the Swarthmore College women’s soccer team finds itself ranked sixth in the all-important Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings, the NCAA announced on Tuesday.

Winners of five of its last six  games, the Swarthmore squad is currently battling for a playoff spot in the Centennial Conference and finds itself in a five-way tie for second place, no small feat in one of the toughest Division III conferences in the nation.

The regional ranking is the highest in program history.

The Garnet women hope to continue its march to the postseason and improve upon their 5-2 Conference record when they take on Gettysburg at the Swarthmore Homecoming game on Saturday.  Kickoff is slated for 4:30 pm.
