Garnet Volleyball Takes Down Mules 3-0 for Fifth-Straight Victory

SWARTHMORE, Pa. -Freshman Maggie Duszyk led the attack with 12 kills while junior Hillary Santana led the defense with 19 digs as the Swarthmore College volleyball team (15-4, 5-1) routed Muhlenberg 3-0 (25-15, 25-18, 25-21) from Tarble Pavilion on Tuesday evening.

With the victory, the Garnet has now won five consecutive Centennial Conference matches without dropping a single game.

Duszyk led the Garnet offense with 12 kills.

Senior captain Sarah Lambert (13) and freshman Danielle Sullivan also recorded double-digit digs for the Garnet, who took care of busy despite a game effort from the Mules (2-18,  0-5 ). Lambert also added seven assists to the Garnet effort.

Sophomore Allie Coleman dished out 19 assists to go along with seven kills. Junior Genny Pezzola finished the game with seven digs and fours kills.

The Garnet will now hit the road for California - home to team members Coleman, Pezzola, and Santana - as the squad will compete in the Cal Lutheran Fall Classic over the weekend.
