Garnet Men Run Strong to Earn Second Place in White 8K at Paul Short Run

RESULTS

BETHLEHEM, Pa. - Sophomore Aidan DuMont-McCaffrey (26:33) finished in seventh place while first-year Robert Fain (26:48) was right on his heels to earn 12th, helping the Swarthmore College men's cross country team earn a second-place finish in the men's white 8K at the Paul Short Run from Lehigh University on Friday afternoon.

The Garnet took second with a team total of 101 points, just two points shy of first-place Rowan (99).

DuMont-McCaffrey

Behind DuMont-McCaffrey and Fain, sophomores John McMinn (26:58) and Bill King (26:59) both helped the Garnet cause, finishing in 21st and 22nd place respectively.

Swarthmore returns to the course on Saturday, October 16 with the DeSales Invitational.
