Lazarus Takes Home First Place at Immaculata Invite; Swat Takes Second Overall

AVONDALE, Pa. - Senior Jeff Lazarus carded a three over-par 73 to tie for first place in the field of 58 golfers and led the Swarthmore College golf team to a second place finish in the Immaculata Invitational with an overall score of 316 on Thursday afternoon from Inniscrone Golf Club.

Lazarus finished tied for first place with a 73, his best showing of the season.

Swat had a great day on the links with three of the four Garnet golfers breaking 80.

Sophomore Paul Weston brought in a 78 to make it the sixth time he would score in the 70s this season.  Weston tied for sixth overall in the tournament.

Sophomore Alex Nichamin finished right behind Weston, shooting a 79 and finishing tied for eighth place.  Sophomore Alex Leichter rounded out the Swarthmore scores with an 86.
