Garnet Sports Network Announces Live Video and Audio Schedule for Spring Season
SWARTHMORE, Pa. - The Swarthmore College Department of Athletics and the Garnet Sports Network has released the live video and audio schedule for the 2010 spring sports season. The network will provide free live video from Clothier Field and free audio from the Clothier baseball and softball fields, totaling over 40 Swarthmore athletic events during the spring season.
During the 2009-10 fall and winter sports seasons, the Garnet Sports Network attracted over 8,500 viewers from all 50 states and 16 countries around the globe.
To watch live video and listen to live audio, fans need to click play on the video player of the corresponding "Garnet Sports Network" post. Live video and audio posts will typically appear on the Swarthmore Athletics homepage within an hour of the start of the game and immediately on the Athletics Blog home page.
Also beginning next week, the Garnet Sports Update - which attracted over 1,600 viewers - will return with new episodes starting the week of March 22nd. The first guest of the spring season will be senior preseason All-American Kevin Friedenberg of the men's lacrosse team.
