FULL RESULTS

GETTYSBURG, Pa. - Freshman John McMinn made a strong debut running at his first Centennial Conference championship, leading the pack for the Swarthmore College men's cross country team with a 21st-place finish (27:59.96), helping the Garnet earn a sixth-place team finish (51) at the championship race on Saturday afternoon from Gettysburg College.

Dickinson captured the team championship (6) and had the top four individual finishers. Red Devil senior Greg Leak won the individual title (26:30.71).

The sixth-place team finish is a one-spot improvement over last season's seventh-place finish also at Gettysburg.

Two other members of the Garnet found themselves within the Top 50 - both freshmen. Brian King crossed the finish line in a time of 28:35.94, good for 33rd place, while Aidan Dumont Mccaffrey  finished 45th with a time of  29:21.47.

Other top Swat racers included sophomore Chris Wickham  (30:14.20/62), junior Patrick Hartnett (30:26.83/65), senior Andrew Van Buren (30:38.53/68), and junior Chris Mayer-Bacon (31:22.42/81).

The Garnet return to action in two weeks with the running of the NCAA Mideast Regional.
