Rose Leads Cross Country Women at Main Line Invitational

RESULTS

HAVERFORD, Pa. -Sophomore Hannah Rose ‘12 finished in 15th place at the Haverford Main Line Invitational on Thursday as the Swarthmore women’s cross country team continued their 2009 campaign following a third-place team finish at the Dickinson Long-Short Run last Saturday.

Running without Nykia Corbett ’10, the women saw strong performances from Ashley Davies ’10 (17, 19:07.4) and Lauren Deluca ’10 (23, 19:19.6).  Davies also finished 17th at the Long-Short Run.

Rounding out the top five for the Garnet were Rebecca Woo ’11 with a time of 19:45.7 and Margret Lenfest ’12, who finished in 20:03.51.  Lenfest did not run at Dickinson while Woo placed 19th before finishing 31st at Haverford.

The Garnet return to action on October 2nd at the Paul Short Invite at Lehigh.
