Garnet Fall in Late Rally
BOULDER, Ariz. -- Wesleyan scored five runs in the ninth inning to earn a 10-9 win over Swarthmore on Sunday morning in non-conference baseball action.
Swarthmore freshman Spencer Ross (Chappaqua, N.Y. / Horace Greeley) hit his first collegiate home run, a three-run job, to lead the Garnet (1-3).
The Garnet will look to avenge today’s loss against Wesleyan (1-0) tomorrow when face-off again at 2:30 p.m. (Mountain Standard Time).
