Softball Cancelled Again
SWARTHMORE, Pa. -- For the third time in less than a week, wet conditions have forced the cancellation of a Garnet softball doubleheader. Sunday's twin bill with the Gettysburg Bullets, a re-scheduled affair originally slated for Saturday, has been called off due to poor field conditions at Clothier Fields.
Today's contest has been re-scheduled for Sunday, April 13 at 1:00 p.m.
The Swarthmore softball team (12-8 overall, 1-1 Centennial) has been unlucky with the weather so far in 2008, running their rain-out total to five in just four weeks. The Garnet are slated for a pair of Conference road doubleheaders this week, traveling to Muhlenberg on April 8 (3:30 p.m.) and to McDaniel on April 12 (1:00 p.m.).
