Stockbower Named to D3Hoops.com Team of the Week
SWARTHMORE, Pa. -- Swarthmore freshman Kathryn Stockbower was named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week for play during the week of Jan. 7-13.Stockbower (Ft. Washington, Pa. / Upper Dublin), a forward registered three double-doubles, averaging 23 points, 14.6 rebounds, and two blocks in three games this week. She posted back-to-back career-highs for scoring at Cabrini (24 points) and versus Franklin and Marshall (26), corralling 16 boards in each contest. Stockbower completed the week with a 19-point, 11-rebound effort at Dickinson.
Stockbower lists fourth on the Centennial Conference-scoring list, averaging 18.8 points per game. As of Jan. 13, she ranks fourth in all of Division III for rebounds per game (13.8), leading her team and the Conference. The freshman has registered ten double-doubles during the Garnet’s 12 games this season.
Joining Stockbower on this week’s D3hoops.com team were two other Centennial players: Muhlenberg junior Lauren Boyle and Franklin & Marshall junior Sarah Meisenberg.
