LANCASTER, Pa. - Garnet sophomore Travis Allen ripped a double as Swarthmore dropped a 5-0 Centennial game at first-place Franklin & Marshall on Friday afternoon.
Garnet sophomore Justin Chen (1-4) suffered the loss, pitching three effective innings allowing only two runs (one earned) on two hits, while striking out two.
Allen's two-bagger came with two outs in the seventh, one of only two hits allowed by Diplomats starter Matthew Metsch.
