CARLISLE, Pa. - Freshman infielder Christine Sendelsky hit a two-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to send Swarthmore to a 4-3 Centennial win in game two of a re-scheduled doubleheader with Dickinson on Sunday afternoon.
The Garnet benefited from a two-run single by freshman Kristin Caspar in the fourth-inning to earn a 6-0 victory over the Devils in game one.
Swarthmore (16-9, 3-1 CC) ties an 18-year old school record with the two victories. The Garnet established a 16-6 record in 1988 under head coach Gomer H. Davies.

The game headed to extra innings, but Sendelsky gave the Garnet a 4-2 advantage with her second home run of the season. The Red Devils struck for a run in the bottom of the eighth, but Swarthmore got Brondell to pop out to end the game.
