Golf: Swarthmore In Good Mood After Win
SPRINGFIELD, Pa. - Junior Zach Moody posted the low round of the day, a three-over par 74, leading the Garnet to its second straight home win on Monday afternoon at Rolling Green Golf Club.
Swarthmore posted a team score of 309, the team's best home score in recent memory, easily outdistancing Cabrini (324), Eastern (369), and Arcadia (400). The Richard Stockton club team also competed, scoring a 328 while the Swarthmore #2 team posted a 339.
Joining Moody on the leader board were junior Eric Zwick (76) and Michael Cullinan '06 (77). Freshman Michael Bernasek, playing on the #2 team, finished fifth with an 80 while classmate David Lau carded an 82 and junior Ed Goldstein scored an 88.
