Swarthmore, PA- Swarthmore College infielder Christine Sendelsky ( Edison, NJ - John P. Stevens) has been named the Centennial Conference Hitter of the Week for the week of Mar. 12.

Sendelsky, a freshman, made a huge splash in her first six collegiate games as the Garnet competed at the 2006 SmashHit Spring Break Tournament in Savannah, Ga. Sendelsky led the Garnet in batting average (.476, 10 for 21), slugging percentage (.762), hits (10), runs (six), doubles (four), and total bases (16).  In Swarthmore's sweep of a double header with Division I Savannah State on Mar. 9, Sendelsky went 5-for-7 with four runs scored and five RBI.
