Garnet Men Ranked No. 1 in Region, No. 5 in Nation
Kansas City, Kan. - For the first time in program history, the Swarthmore College men's soccer team finds itself atop the NSCAA Mid-Atlantic regional rankings as well as in the top five of the NSCAA national rankings, the organization announced on Tuesday afternoon.
The Garnet (6-0) reached the No. 1 regional ranking thanks to a 2-1 victory over the previous No. 1 Johns Hopkins on Saturday in Baltimore. In the national rankings, Swarthmore finds itself at No. 5 behind Williams, Carnegie Mellon, Christopher Newport and Calvin.
The Garnet are in action tonight against Arcadia (3-3). Action is slated to begin at 7:00 p.m.
