Travis Pollen Featured on Comcast SportsNet
PHILADELPHIA – Swarthmore College men’s swimmer Travis Pollen ‘12, an above-knee amputee who earlier this year became an American record holder and national champion, will be featured in latest episode of Comcast SportsNet’s ‘Net Impact Philly, which will begin airing this Friday and continue throughout the month.
Pollen's incredible accomplishments in the pool, which include breaking the six-year-old paralympic S9 American record in the 100 yard freestyle and capturing the national championship in the S9 classification 50 meter freestyle, have already been highlighted by Sports Illustrated and Philadelphia’s NBC 10.
