Senior captain Dylan Langley recorded a goal and assist, while his brother, junior Morgan Langley, sophomore Micah Rose, sophomore Henry Ainley and freshman Suwhan In also scored in the Garnet rout. Sophomore Roberto Contreras IV, sophomore Fabian Castro and freshman Thomas Drew all added assists while the Garnet defense stymied the Lions' attack all game long.  Swarthmore dominated in all phases of the game, out-shooting PSU-Abington 27-7 while owning a commanding 19-3  advantage in shots on goal.

The Garnet took control of the match with two goals in a one-minute span early in the first half.  In the 11th minute, Dylan Langley lofted a pass from the midfield to an unmarked Morgan, who found the back of the net on a breakaway to give the Garnet the early 1-0 lead.  Just one minute later, Rose knocked a header past the 'keeper and into the left side of the net off a beautiful corner by Contreras, giving the Garnet a 2-0 lead.

Ainley, a sophomore transfer, scored the first goal of his career in the 39th minute, taking a pass from Castro and smoothly turning past a PSU-Abington defender towards the front of the box.  Ainley beat one more defender, then drove the ball into the goal, giving the Garnet a commanding 3-0 lead heading into the half.

It was more of the same in the second half.  After getting taken down in the area, Dylan Langley ripped a bullet into the right corner on the resulting penalty kick - atoning for an earlier penalty he had saved in the first half - to give the Garnet a 4-0 lead in the 62nd minute.  Finally, Korean rookie striker Suhwan In netted his first career goal after being set free on a breakaway by fellow freshmen Drew.  Drew's excellent pass from the midfield in the 86th minute allowed In to put the finishing touches on an outstanding Garnet performance.

In goal for the Garnet, senior captain Zach Weimer made three saves to pick up the shutout.

For the Lions, goalkeeper Dainel Carmack made 14 saves.
