Nyika Knifes Thru Competition at Regionals
WAYNESBURG, Pa. -- Junior Nyika Corbett led the Swarthmore women's cross country team to a seventh place finish overall at the 2008 NCAA Division III Mideast Regional Championships.
For the past three years Corbett (Myrtle Point, Ore. / Myrtle Point) has been the top finisher for the Garnet at the Regional meet, this year she placed 33rd overall earning All-Region honors.
On the men's side senior Erik Saka (Quincy, Ill. / Quincy) set the pace for the Garnet men as the 48th finisher crossing the line at 26:53.
