Swat Women Hit Postseason Again

SWARTHMORE, Pa. --  The Garnet women's soccer team will play in the post-season for the third straight year, receiving a bid to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Region Championship.  Swarthmore, the sixth seed, will travel north to Delaware Valley College, the third seed, for a 2:00 p.m. match on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Swarthmore (9-4-4) is the defending champion of the ECAC South Region, claiming the 2007 title in penalty kicks over Catholic last November (the team fell in the semifinals in 2006).

The Aggies (14-4-1) are enjoying their best season in program history, setting records for wins in a season while making their first-ever ECAC Championship appearance.

Admission to Wednesday’s match is $3 for adults, $2 for seniors, $1 for students and free for children under 6.
